Stripper Column

In this system we can remove only low boiling solvent or low volatile solvent have boiling point less than 100°C. Low boiling solvent mainly present in Pharmaceutical, Pesticide, Chemical Industries etc., are methanol, ethanol, acetone, MDC, Acetonitrile etc. From stripper, low boiling solvent form effluent water recover from top side of the stripper column and condensate into condenser with some water traces.

If high boiling solvent present than it will be comes bottom of stripper and it will be transfer into MEE followed by ATFD. If high boiling solvent present in MEE feed and it can Azetrope with water than COD value will be come around 1500 to 2000 PPM in MEE Condensate water and if it’s not done. Azetrope with water than it will be come in ATFD salt.
